For very light, cool-toned blonde or predominantly grey hair, the potent L-ascorbic acid antioxidant in The Prevention may cause warm or brassy discoloration at the roots if the product builds up over time. To avoid this, we recommend that light-haired customers rinse the scalp daily with water and/or use KilgourMD Shampoo to prevent product buildup.

If daily rinsing isn’t feasible, we suggest using The Treatment Scalp Serum on its own rather than purchasing the bundle with The Prevention.
